Reachable December Bucket List

No way! It’s time to share my reachable December Bucket List!

Isn’t it hard to believe the last month of 2015 is here? But Winter is only beginning.

December is the month of giving back, settling down, and spending some quality time with family and friends.

It’s the month I love to relax. This December, I’m making a set of reachable goals that will be easily attainable.

December Bucket LIst

  1. Expand my Twitter Reach

In November, I focused my reach on Facebook. By the end of the month, I found myself in a comfortable schedule of posting every three hours. My reach has increased tremendously by simply keeping my posts on a schedule.

This month, I plan to add in Twitter. I use Buffer to schedule tweets every four hours. This does not include retweets. I may still randomly retweet something I like.

However, I will limit myself to 10-12 tweets total per day. No more than that. Plus, most of those tweets will be intentional. Meaningful. Helpful.

Another way I hope to expand my Twitter reach is by engaging in parties, chats, and messages. Please feel free to follow my Tweets. Let me know if you like what I’m tweeting and my tweet schedule.

  2. Bake Holiday Treats with my Family

Who can resist them? Cookies, Breads, Cinnamon Rolls, oh my!

Everyone always enjoys homemade or handmade treats. Plates of our holiday treats will make fabulous gifts.

The other plus is time spent in the kitchen with my little family. We will have one more of us in a few months.

Time together with the two of them is priceless.

    Life's Precious Lessons

  3. Upgrade My Photography Skills

I received access to a free class through Craftsy. I chose a photography class.

Photography is something I’ve always had a knack for. I’ve never been competitive with it until now.

This year, I exhibited some photos to the County Fair. One of my photos received 3rd place Black & White!

I’m hoping this class will teach me about proper lighting as well as different settings on the camera to maximize the photo quality.

This December, I will not only complete the class, but I will practice as much as I possibly can.

  4. Teaching Mylee a lesson

Mylee has great skills already when it comes to life lessons.

I want to teach Mylee about giving to others this month.

I’m going to let her choose between giving a plate of homemade goodies to someone or donating some of her clothes or toys to someone in need.

It’s never too early to teach little ones how to be thoughtful and generous even when there’s little to give.

How to Give Back when You have so little to give

  5. Clean and organize my home

Wow. That’s all I have to say about my cleaning/organizing skills.

They need some serious work, people.

Luckily, I purchased the Ultimate Homemaking Bundle. It’s loaded with tips, tricks and resources for homemaking. This includes cleaning tips. Yay!

I will be so “Suzie Homemaker”, you may not recognize me by 2016.

What are your goals for December?

Awesome list. Every December i do on a MAD dash to organize my house. In my culture, you have to make sure your home is in tip top shape going into the new year. I hope we get it all done!!! Hugs

Hey, Ann! I DESPISE cleaning my house, but this season, I'm making myself do it. I have great faith that you will accomplish the task. I, on the other hand, would not be surprised if I find other things to do. But I'm going to try hard. :) Hugs to you as well.

Thanks, Stefanie. Wrapping presents before Christmas Eve is a great goal. Will you wait until the kids are asleep or will you let them help with gifts that aren't theirs?

Love holiday treats! This year my parents are coming to visit so I'm going to make sure that I save that for when my mom is here :)

That sounds great! I love baking with my mom as well. It's so much fun to share recipes and tips in the kitchen. As well as just have a good time.
