#40Thanks Lenten Challenge
My grandma always said, "Think more about the things you HAVE than the things you DON'T HAVE". These things we have are what I call blessings.
Counting blessings is something I tend to forget to do and I need to remind myself regularly.
My friend Asheritah blogs at www.onethingalone.com and she has introduced a great challenge.
The 40 Thanks Lenten Challenge. (#40Thanks)
Asheritah writes, "God is the Giver of all good gifts. But often He uses people, and we should thank them too." This is so true! How many times has someone helped you and it has made that journey a little easier (or a lot). This is God's way of helping, by sending us messages through people we come in contact with. We just need to listen. And we need to thank them for acting as God's messengers.
So, I will be participating in this challenge. I am an introvert, but I see and talk with people on a daily basis. As I listen to them and what they tell me, I definitely pick out messages they express through words and phrases. I use these messages for personal growth in my daily life. Listening is key. However, I do often forget to thank them for their message and it is so important.
I don't want my days to get lost in the shuffle so below are the links to all the people I will be thanking in the next 40 days:
1. My Husband
2. All Winter Road Workers
3. Brandy McDonald
4. Kat Lee
5. Kristen Tebow
6. Chris Griffin
7. Pat Cotten
8. Nichole Honeywell
