INGREDIENTS & SUPPLIES FOR MAKING CHOCOLATE COVERED PRETZELS
You’ll need:
- Wax paper
- Mini pretzels
- Almond bark
- Sprinkles
HOW TO MAKE CHOCOLATE COVERED PRETZELS
First, tape the wax paper down at the edge of a table. This allows for little ones to reach the pretzels to sprinkle them.
Next, melt the chocolate almond bark. You can do this in the microwave and it takes about 3 minutes. Be sure to stir every 15 seconds so it doesn’t burn. Caution: It will be VERY HOT!
You can also melt almond bark on the stove top. Just make sure to stir constantly. It will burn easily.
When the almond bark is nice and creamy, dip the pretzels completely into the almond bark. When they are covered, set them out on the wax paper and let your lil’ helper cover with sprinkles. I let my little girls just have fun with it. After all, these chocolate covered pretzels are so easy to make and a great way for kids to be involved in the kitchen.
When the pretzels are dry, they are ready to eat! They are delicious snacks and they make fun gifts, too.
HOW CAN YOU SHARE THIS TREAT WITH OTHERS?
You are going to want to share these with everyone! They make great snacks or you could customize them as a gift for someone else. It’s always at the top of our Christmas candies list because they are so easy to make – a no-brainer.
