A Voice Of Hope

When I am having a downer day, I look for a light of hope and happiness. A voice of hope. I know it is there somewhere, because I believe God is always there.

It is the people we encounter who carry the messages from God.

I can usually find inspiration in a podcast from Kat Lee, who blogs at Inspired to Action. I actually found Kat when I was looking for blogging resources at her other blog: How They Blog. While listening to her and learning so much about blogging, I also learned about Inspired to Action.

On the Inspired to Action podcast, Kat and her guests present and discuss experiences and situations other moms may be experiencing. She puts herself in the shoes of a new mother, such as myself, to present situations and solutions to be a better mom, wife, and person.

I have high goals for myself. When someone close to me tells me there’s no way I will achieve those goals, my mind shifts to “downer” mode. I start to feel sorry for myself, questioning my motives. The truth of the matter is, you CAN’T let your mind rule you. Your mind HAS to be in the positive mindset to succeed. Listening to the Inspired to Action Podcast puts me in the positive mindset I need to keep moving forward.

Kat’s podcast has been such a life changer for me. A voice of hope. Her smooth voice has made me feel alive on so many occasions. Kat says, “My hope is that this show is the pep talk you need as a mom.” Not only as a mom, but as a person. I apply many topics on this podcast to my professional life as well.

Kat says,”Out of all the women in the world, God chose you to be the mother of your children because you are unique and amazing. He has called you and He has equipped you.” Thanks, Kat for being a voice for God’s messages to me and other moms.  You are truly inspiring.

Until Next Time,

Farm Fit Mama
