Crock Pot Chicken Wings

My husband is a boss when it comes to cooking. And I’ll say it again with this fantastic chicken wing recipe.

These wings are to die for. Slow-cooked, fall off the bone home-growned chicken meat is slathered in a sweet and spicy sauce. It is perfection.

We raised the chickens ourselves and butchered them last fall. The wings are so meaty. You can use them as an appetizer or pair them with a salad and make it a meal.

Here’s the recipe:

4 pounds of thawed or fresh Chicken Wings
1 Cup Frank’s Hot Sauce
6 TBS Honey
2 TBS Butter

In a medium sized crock pot, mix the butter, honey, and hot sauce and turn on low heat. Add the chicken wings. Cook on low for 6-8 hours and stir occasionally.

We paired the wings with homemade pizza and salad. It was quite the meal!
